Project overview
CarByCart brings several automotive shopping journeys into one website. Visitors can browse new cars by brand, inspect individual vehicle listings, explore spare parts and accessories, and create an account for a more direct purchasing experience. The public site also explains the steps from choosing a car or part through pricing, payment, shipping, and delivery. Those journeys have different information needs: a vehicle buyer compares models and offers, while a parts buyer needs to identify the right category and fit. Presenting both within one navigable platform makes the catalogue useful to customers who arrive with very different goals. This case study covers the customer-facing digital experience, not the commercial arrangements behind vehicle sourcing or shipping.
The business challenge
Automotive commerce has to make a broad and changing catalogue understandable. Cars, mechanical parts, consumables, interior items, and accessories cannot all be presented as a flat list. Visitors need enough structure to locate what they want, see relevant details, and understand the next step before committing to an enquiry or order. This is the general product experience the CarByCart website addresses.
The digital solution
The site separates new-car discovery from spare-parts shopping while keeping both within a shared brand and navigation system. Brand links and vehicle cards lead into car details; part categories and search give parts shoppers more direct entry points. The cart and account controls make commerce actions visible, and the illustrated process pages explain quotation, payment, shipping, and delivery in plain steps. Responsive layouts carry those routes onto smaller screens. Together, the public interface turns a complex automotive inventory into distinct, understandable paths instead of asking every visitor to navigate the same catalogue.
